Welcome
Grey Wolf Traditional Teaching Lodge
Two NamesThere are 2 spirits who govern the lodge; Waabi-ma'iingan (Grey Wolf) and Ozhaawashko-giizhig (Blue Sky). That is the reason for 2 names. Our lodge is incorporated under Ozhaawashko-giizhig (Blue Sky) Traditional Teaching Lodge and we use Waabi-ma'iingan (Grey Wolf) Traditional Teaching Lodge as the day-to-day name.
Our Vision:
With the help of the Creator, we will bring all four Nations together to promote: love; respect; courage; honesty; wisdom; humility; and truth. With an army of helpers, we will achieve these teachings through gatherings sharing knowledge and creating awareness.
Our Mandate:
The Teaching Lodge is helping to rebuild cultural and Spiritual connections. Focused on building peace, unity, and understanding, the primary goal of the Teaching Lodge is to provide an environment for individuals from all cultures and walks of life to: gather; share Anishnaabe culture; traditional teachings; and, the Spiritual Laws. The Teaching Lodge would ensure that the Elders, traditional people and teachers would always have a place to gather; inspire a sense of pride in the Anishnaabe peoples; and, preserve the Anishnaabe language and culture.
